These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the Common Scholarship Portal ("the Portal"), operated by the Department of Information Technology & Communication (DITC), Government of Nagaland, for the administration of state scholarship schemes. By accessing or using the Portal, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Eligibility and account use
The Portal is intended for use by eligible students applying for scholarship schemes offered by the Government of Nagaland, and by authorised departmental, nodal, and helpdesk staff administering those schemes. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit and for keeping your account credentials confidential. Any activity carried out under your account is treated as having been authorised by you.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Portal, including by submitting false or misleading information, attempting to access another applicant's records, interfering with the Portal's operation, or using automated tools to scrape or bulk-download content without authorisation.
3. Content ownership
All content published on the Portal — including scheme guidelines, notifications, and page text — is the property of the Government of Nagaland unless otherwise stated, and may be reproduced only with due acknowledgement, for non-commercial and informational purposes.
4. Links to other websites
The Portal may link to external websites for convenience, including scheme guideline documents and third-party services such as DigiLocker. The Government of Nagaland does not control and is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of external sites.
5. No warranty
The Portal is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While reasonable care is taken to keep information accurate and up to date, no warranty is given as to completeness, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability, and no liability is accepted for any loss arising from reliance on Portal content or from technical downtime.
6. Changes to these terms
These Terms of Use may be revised from time to time to reflect changes in scheme policy or applicable law. The date of the most recent update is shown at the top of this page. Continued use of the Portal after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes arising from use of the Portal are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at Kohima, Nagaland.
